Rates and Policy

Standard academic tutoring policies:

• My standard rate is $65/hour.  

• Minimum meeting time is 1 hour.  I can meet for shorter periods of time (i.e. 45 minute class period + any prep time and 15 minutes for a post-meeting e-mail to parents) but each meeting will be billed for a minimum of one hour.

• I am happy to bill as frequently as you wish.  (Generally I bill either once or twice a month.) I also traditionally send invoices via email.

• I charge in full for missed sessions without prior notice (24 hours by email or 12 hours by phone)

• For 2 on 1 sessions, each student receives a ~30% discount and each is charged $45/hour.

SAT/ACT/Test Prep Rates:

• Test prep rates are $75/hour.

• This includes additional prep time for grading, sample problems and customized curriculum.
